Question about Sports Massage course

Hi everyone!
I’m thinking of doing Sports Massage Course In London. I already have Level 3 in Body Massage done in college in London and also I attended Post-Secondary Medical School in Poland(title in award: Technician Masseur) which is, according to NARIC, considered comparable to BTEC level 4/SQA Higher National Certificate (HNC)Standard.
And the question is if anyone is familiar with following Schools/courses:
1. The School of Natural Therapies, London:
BTEC Level 5

http://www.schoolofnaturaltherapies.co.uk/index.php/courses/detail/sports_and_remedial_massage_btec/

(Has anybody heard about them?)

2. The London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) BTEC Level5
http://www.lssm.com/diploma_courses.php

3. St. Mary’s University, Level 3 ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage for Level 3 Body Massage Therapists and then Level 4 ITEC
http://www.stmarys.ac.uk/short-courses/level-3-sports-massage-for-body-therapists.htm

Is any of them good or should I look further?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you!

Hello Katarzyna,

I would strongly recommend the London School of Sports Massage course in soft tissue therapy level 5.

I have taught the ITEC level 3 holistic massage and sports massage level 3 and think with your existing qualifications this is not advanced enough for you.

My other recommendation would be to look at Jing massage, in Brighton level 6 link below

Hi Katarzyna,

If you can find time to journey to Brighton then Jing is a no-brainer. By far the best training providers out there. In all my years of learning and personal development (whether massage or other skills and hobbies) they have the best teachers and teacher to student ratio I have come across. The learning environment is warm, friendly and all who attend support and enhance each other. You really feel part of a learning "family".

Give Nina a ring in the office, she is highly informative and very easy to talk to 01273 628942.

By the way I have no affiliation to Jing other than a passion for their style of teaching.

Good Luck Katarzyna.

Jay.

Thank both of you for answer. Unfortunately I am not able to attend a course in Brighton. Is there any in London which you would recommend?

Hi Katarzyna. I did the conversion course with St Mary's (Level 3 body massage to Level 3 Sports massage). It's over about 3/4 weeks. The tutor is very knowledgeable and I would recommend it. I'm going to do my Level 4 sports massage with them too. Best wishes, Sarah
