The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe with a national and international reputation for high quality patient care, research, development and education.
Complementary Therapists are key members of a multidisciplinary team geared to the rehabilitation of patients undergoing surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in both in and out patient settings. Working in oncology provides an environment where holistic care, advanced communication and evidence based practice are fundamental.
Ongoing professional training and development is encouraged and supported. Band 8a Complementary Team Leader 22.5 hours per week, Chelsea based but will involve working at the Sutton site.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Complementary Therapist to lead the team at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will have responsibility for a clinical caseload and work with the team to use current evidence and research to develop the service . We are looking for a complementary therapist with leadership skills and experience in working with this challenging and rewarding patient group.
