COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIST – SELF –EMPLOYED OPPORTUNITY

MND Scotland, a charity which provides care & support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease requires additional self-employed therapists to join their existing team. Therapists will provide treatment on patients and /or their carers within the clients’ homes for up to 20 sessions each. Payment is £30 per session and we are looking for therapists qualified in any of the following: therapeutic massage; sports / remedial massage; aromatherapy; indian head massage or reflexology. Therapists must also have their own insurance of at least £3 million and have a PVG certificate to work with vulnerable adults. (If you don’t currently have a PVG form that can be sorted before you work with any MND clients). It is a requirement that therapists and must attend the MND Awareness course which will take place either a Saturday / Sunday mid September 2017 from 11.00am – 3.00pm within our Glasgow office. Travel expenses will be available to attend the training and therapists travelling long distances maybe be entitled to an overnight B & B stay the night before.

At this stage we only require a limited amount of therapists from the following areas:
Aberdeen/ Aberdeenshire; Kinlochleven or Fort William; Edinburgh city centre; Perth/Tayside; South Lanarkshire; Forth Valley.

Hello would you need a therapist for a weekend in Edinburgh/surrounding area? I am based in Lancashire but I would be able to do a weekend in that area if needs be in August. I am specialised in seated chair massage, body massage and Indian Head Massage. Thank you.
