First Aid for Therapists
There is nothing like experience of a situation for learning.
How many First Aid courses that are accredited by the Health and Safety Executive are there that are actually GIVEN by a lecturer who is also a practitioner of over 14 different complementary therapies, fitness instruction and nutritional adviser AND a PGCE qualified Lecturer and A1 Assessor ?.
If you have need of delivering First Aid courses to your students, or need to be able to guide your students to a course because your school does not have one in-house, please give us a call.
Given by a practicing therapist and qualified First Aid instructor, we can either come to your therapies school/college or accept students from you on our fully certified First Aid course which is open for all therapists and their friends.
The CPR Primary Care course complies with government first aid requirements for the therapies profession. An Emergency First Response certificate, valid for two years, is issued on successful completion of our courses.
If your students need a ONE day first aid course in order to feel more able and competent in an emergency situation – let us know at The H Club via e-mail or ring 077989-36004. (max 12 students please per course).
We can help your students to choose from CPR Primary Care or build on these skills with Secondary Care illness assessment and bleeding management techniques.
The CPR Primary Care course is ideal for smaller places of work that present few health and safety risks where a nominated person is required by law to take charge in the event of illness or accident.
Alternately, we can offer full 4 day HSE First Aid at Work courses by arrangement.
Please let us know whether you need a group session at your own location (lecturer service) or whether you would prefer to enrol students on one of our off-site regular courses based in Cheshire.
For more information, contact: TheHClub@Hotmail.com stating your requirements, student numbers and preferred mode of delivery.

|Please note: on 1st October 2009 Health & Safety regulations and First Aid Training requirements were changed.
Categories of risk were amended to be only Low or Higher.
Numbers of employees (including voluntary workers) combined with risk level are used to determine which of the two HSE recognised First Aid Training qualifications: Emergency First Aider OR Workplace First Aider should be used and for how many staff in the organisation.
