I am just setting out in practice and understand the theory of contra-indications and needing a doctors consent for some ailments. However in practice how do you find this works with your practice? I am concerned clients will come (and lets face it so many people are diabetic or have blood pressure problems), be disapointed they can't get a treatment and not bother to get their doctor to sign the form and come back. thus leaving them with a 'why bother' attitude.
How does it work in your practice when a doctors consent is required? how do clients feel about this? how often do you need to get a consent form from a doctor signed?
