REPORT: Central & North London, 20th March meeting

REPORT on Central & North London Meeting, 20th March 2012

A huge thank you to our amazing speaker, Melanie Bloch who took the group step by step through the workings of some basic TFT. It was quite a change for us therapists to focus on helping ourselves. Rather revelationary!

Melanie Bloch supplied a 7 page handout with diagrams and explanations of Thought Field Therapy.
It was a very practical experiential workshop where every member was able to participate and learnt:
* How to measure their subjective unit of distress between the numbers one - ten.
* What psychological reversal is and how to treat it for maximum beneficial outcome.
* All 14 meridian tapping points were demonstrated and practised.
* A highly effective tapping sequence for complex trauma was learnt and used by the whole group.
*A meditation at the end of the session allowed for integration of all that had been learnt with a sense of completion, peace, grounding and protection.

Feedback from each member of the group was shared in the circle - each person had felt a positive change. Some people felt very light in their being and couldn't stop smiling. Others reported that their problem wasn't an issue anymore, another fed back that she had cleared so much of the initial presenting problem that now she knew what the root cause was and was going to do extra work to clear that.

Two members who said they had been a bit sceptical about how effective TFT would be, said they felt a shift, tingling in their body and a definite benefit.

There was time for questions and answers throughout the workshop.

If anyone would like to take part in a TFT basic workshop or take it to the next level - learning more diagnostic tools get in touch with
