Dear Therapists,

Dare we declare that summer has finally arrived? I do hope that your spirit has been lifted with the clear sky.

Our next meeting will be on Emmett Technique. Do please attend if you would like to find out more about this fascinating form of massage therapy focusing on mobility and release. Everybody is most welcome.

TOPIC: Emmett Technique
SPEAKER: Lesley Pearce

During her career in Nursing, Lesley soon realised that people needed more than pills & potions to recover & maintain good health.
To that end & while working in the Hospice movement she started her journey into the complementary & alternative therapy world.
Starting with basic Massage after teaching on the ENB 934, she soon added Hydrotherm System, which is great for people who have had surgery to the front of the body & splendid for pregnant mums.
Continued on the learning curve with Reiki, Metamorphic foot treatment,
Gerson Dietary Therapy, No Hands Massage this soon followed by
Limbatics Massage, a more refined therapy!!
Then followed by Manual Lymph Drainage Massage (MLD).
For the next 10 years Lesley worked on a voluntary basis at two of Surrey's Hospitals while building up a busy private practice.
Bowen followed & then Lesley found the work of another Australian Ross Emmett This is a remarkable therapy enabling relief from pain & discomfort to be given by light finger pressure & the odd "switch". This technique can also be self-administered.

Lesley’s aim for the evening is to be interactive with the participants & explore the benefit of M L D & the magic of the Ross Emmett technique to help with mobility & release Above all to have a fun & interesting time, look forward to seeing you there.
