Get paid to spend the weekend giving treaments in France?

Dear Therapists

Would you like to get paid to spend the weekend in France?

Are you available from 9-12 March 2007?

Are you an experienced deep tissue/remedial massage therapist, sports injuries massage therapist or physiotherapist?

Then you might just be the person I’m looking for.

I need two therapists to work alongside me on a charity bike ride organised by Architects for Aid. One therapist should specialise in deep tissue/remedial massage or sports injury massage and the other in physiotherapy.

Architects for Aid (A4A) is holding its second sponsored charity bike ride from Calais to Cannes (France) on the weekend of 9-12 March 2007. In 2006 17 riders took part in the 1500km journey and raised £110,000. This year 70 riders are making the journey and aim to raise more than £250,000!

The ride will be split into shifts with a third of the riders on the road at any one time while the remainder (including therapists) following behind in coaches. Overnight, we’ll all be staying in a hotel. As you can imagine, there’ll be some very sore riders and one or two aches and strains! And that’s where you come in.

If you think you fit the bill and can commit to the whole weekend, then send an email telling me about yourself and experience, plus how much you would expect to be paid for the trip, to: or call me on 07984 084 460 – I’m happy to answer your questions.

Please check for more information about A4A and the charity bike ride.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Hana

Thanks for your enquiry. However I'm no longer accepting applications for these positions - there was a phenomenal response from therapists around the country!

I've already shortlisted suitable applicants for the posts and they'll be interviewed soon.

If you'd like to be kept informed of future work opportunities, then please send your CV to me at and I'll add you to the mailing list.

Take care and good luck.
