Nurturing the whole Child
If you’re a complementary therapist working to enhance the care about the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, then join the Massage in Schools Association at our Annual General Meeting.
If you’ve never heard of us, we are the Association that supports Instructors trained with the Massage in Schools Programme (MISP). Our vision is that every school child, everywhere in the world experiences positive and nurturing touch every day through participation in the Massage in Schools Programme – the UK’s first and original peer-to-peer massage programme for children.
During this information-packed day you’ll discover the wonders of the Massage in Schools Programme and the many benefits it brings to children. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear the latest thinking on improving the self-esteem and wellbeing of children from a team of international speakers and experts in the field of child psychology and education.
Our panel of speakers include: Kerstin Uvnäs Moberg PhD, Swedish professor of physiology and author of The Oxytocin Factor; Julia Bird, independent Education Consultant, author and former OFSTED inspector and Peter Hook, an independent Education Consultant, who has developed specialist training solutions for practitioners to use to improve the emotional health and well being of children.
