Suksma Marma Therapy & essential oils – 10th Dec 2015, 7-9pm - CThA Harrow Middlesex & Uxbridge meeting

My thanks to Judith for a wonderfully chilled Sound circle meditation and an informative talk on Sound therapy.
Our next meeting on Thurs, 10th Dec 2015, 7-9pm
Marma Therapy is the art of treating very special vital points on the human body, and is one of the greatest healing secrets of Ayurveda. It can be used to detoxify the body, to strengthen and revitalize, for rejuvenation and relaxation, and to release blocked energy. Through these energy points we can stimulate the function of internal organs, strengthen self-healing power, and harmonize mind and body. Marma Therapy covers a wide spectrum of applications: from simple self-treatment to elaborate clinical therapy. Suksma Marma treatment requires only a few basic skills, some body sensation and above all, delight in touch, massage, and well-being.

Speaker: Jonathan Hinde is a Teacher of Transcendental Meditation, an aromatherapist, Sukshma Marma therapist and Managing Director of Oshadhi Ltd.

He will be talking about
- Why essential oils seem to be a focal point for so many different types of treatment
- The factors that determine purity in essential oils
- The four elements of a good treatment
- Why modern life cries out for touch, taste and smell.
