The Aaron Mattes 4 Day Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening Seminar at the Renaissance Hotel
The Aaron Mattes 4 Day Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening Seminar at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow, from 15 – 18 October 2009.
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a stretching technique that has been created and perfected by Aaron Mattes in the USA for over the past 40 years. AIS should be of interest to Medical Doctors, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Personal Trainers, or anyone involved with Soft Tissue Training or Rehabilitation.
The Active Isolated Stretching method of muscle lengthening and fascial release is a type of Athletic Stretching Technique that provides effective, dynamic, facilitated stretching of major muscle groups, but more importantly, AIS provides functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes. AIS allows the body to repair itself and also to prepare for daily activity. The AIS technique involves the method of holding each stretch for only two seconds. This method of stretching is also known to work with the body’s natural physiological makeup to improve circulation and increase the elasticity of muscles, joints and fascia. Apart from treating common and sports-related injuries, AIS is also used to treat muscular and neurological diseases. This technique can be used to treat people of all ages and from all walks of life, helping to improve their flexibility, general well-being and quality of life.
This will be Aaron’s first ever UK Seminar. This is “Cutting Edge” information, available to a limited number of participants and will be the only presentation in the UK and Europe in 2009.
