1st North-East Northern Ireland Group Meeting

Thank you to all who managed to attend the first meeting in Bangor!

It was a fantastic evening. We had a very interesting and lively first meeting.

The main subjects discussed where 'Associations and how they can help therapists'; what are CPD points and how to gain CPD points; voluntary CRB checks; changes in qualifications VCTC-QCF; local ideas to promote the therapists; co-operation between alternative therapists, chiropractitioners, GP's and other health professionals.

The next meetings are planned for (dates & venues TBA):

End of September 2010: How to start the business: practical i.e. help building your web page, ways of promoting business

End of October 2010: 1 - Day - course: First - Aid - Certificate (only if confirmed min. of 10 attendees)

Please send me your preferred dates for each event and all you would like to discuss during these meetings. I am in contact with a certified First-Aid-Trainer. The minimum group required would be 6 attendees, maximum is 12per group. The costs are depending on how many attend.

Also I am in contact with an IT specialist and ‘InvestNI’ in regards to current ‘starting-up-business-course dates. I will try to get the IT specialist to attend the meeting as soon as i know which days in September he would be available.

Kind regards,
