Aromatherapy & Alzheimer's Disease Workshop 15 March 2012

Full day workshop for 6 'A' Rated IFPA CPD Points CThA 5 Credits. £80 per person or £60 each for groups of four. The day will include discussions about the notes supplied prior to the workshop. The areas covered include information about the disease and other dementias and ideas for carers. A variety of different essential oils, carrier oils and hydrosols from various suppliers will be available to compare and discuss with emphasis on the relevance of each. Information available from Alzheimer's Society, plus aromatherapy research and delivering a holistic approach, which includes music therapy, occupational therapy and Bach flower remedies and self care for therapists. There will also be a short film from the Alzheimer's society followed by discussion. Two 15 minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch break with all drinks supplied including herbal tea, soft drinks, water. You just need to bring your own packed lunch, a pen and paper.
