Exmoor 30:30 event 14th September 2013
It's that time of year again when the Exmoor 30x30 is looking for trained hands to come and soothe the tired muscles of the competitors, and this is set to be the biggest yet!
There are currently 16 teams of 5 registered to take part on the 14th September, all doing either 30 miles or 30 kilometres in one day across the rough terrain of Exmoor. Our team will be waiting at the end to help them take their 30lb pack off and bring their sore legs and shoulders back to life!
Accommodation in the local YHA and food will be provided for free, and expenses will be covered, all we ask is that you come down, enjoy yourself and do a bit of massage. This year we will have our own tent on Exford village green, next to the WI tent where there will be plenty of tea and cake on offer to all. You can either travel down to Exmoor on Friday 13th September and stay overnight, or travel down on Saturday 14th in time to be set up for 12pm.
Once the event is finished there will be time to relax and pack away, before going to the annual award dinner where you will get a 3 course meal and I expect lots of applause for the effort that you have made - our team always gets the most applause! You will also be able to stay overnight on the Saturday if you would like.
So if you are interested in helping out this year please drop us a line or call us on: Sylwia: 07970120173 firstname.lastname@example.org or Tamsin: 07866483763 email@example.com). We are happy to give you more details and requests for accommodation and other requirements. We are looking for a larger team of 8 people this year, all with mobile couches and equipment and of course insurance.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Tamsin and Sylwia
