Anyone reading this should be aware that as of October 1st 2009, the Health and Safety Executive is changing the regulations in respect of who is and who is not allowed to issue First Aid certificates for use in the workplace - in effect the Appointed Person First Aid course will NOT meet the new regulations for compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Please ensure that any First Aid certificates are issued by organisations and persons that are HSE recognised First Aid at Work training centres.
