Independent Practitioners' Section

This is a part of Amicus, the trade union that represents many health can care workers, amongst many others. The independent practitioners' group is open to all those involved in complementary/alternative therapies, the "professions applied to medicine" and similar. In the past, many of us were osteopaths/osteomyologists, but we're broadening out. In particular, it is for those who work independently, freelance, or as the only one in their job/profession where they work. Next meeting is Tuesday 14th February, 6-7.30, at the Amicus centre, 33-37 Moreland Street, London EC1V 8HA. Anyone interested is more than welcome. If you're not already an Amicus member we can tell you all about that, too. Note: this is not a "professional body" and not a competitor to Embody. You can belong to both with no problems. FOr more info or to book in, phone Carol 020 7780 4061 or mail me here. Rosemary
