MAIN TOPIC: REIMOVES
SPEAKER: Monica Brunello
The Rei movement practice was founded in 1999 by Monica Brunello. It grew from the desire to merge two great passions - dance movement and the realm of energy healing - to create and deliver performance that inspired healing. Monica later felt the need for it to be accessible not only to the creator, the dancers and the audience at a show, but to anyone anywhere, as life is a moving experience.
Rei focuses on the expression of both internal and external movement of energy, using both as a guide for sensing disharmony and as a tool for recreating connection. Rei uses collaborative energy work, hands-on healing, visualization, breathing and simple movement-based exercises to produce its healing benefits and creative expressions. It is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and stages of health.
PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING. We will be doing some movement exercises and be working bare foot. If you have yoga socks (the ones with non slip soles) please bring them with you.
For all therapist who would like to receive, practice or give treatment to other therapist - this is a great time.
There chairs to sit on for this. There will be no massage couches, nor towels, etc. provided.
