Tayforth Meeting, Saturday 25 November 2006
Delighted to report that 13 members attended the last Tayforth meeting of the year (2006). Speaker, Annette Lobo, introducted us to the Emotional Freedom Technique and gave us an opportunity to practise it on one another. One of our members benefitted hugely from this hands-on session as, despite her scepticism that something so simple could work, she was astounded to discover her chronic shoulder pain all but disappeared! Then, over tea/coffee and excellent homebaking, we chatted about Regulation, CPD, e-mail and mobile phone scam alerts, and our programme for next year (2007!). On the cards are workshops on Angel healing; shamanic healing; a therapies exchange day; canoeing for the intrepid; hot stone therapy; voice training. If you have other ideas for workshops / speakers, please email me. However, our first meeting (last Saturday in January 2007) will be a post-Christmas/New Year lunch in Dunfermline (details to follow). We plan to continue with our bi-monthly meetings on the last Saturday - dates to follow - at St Margaret's Parish Church, Dunfermline. Non-Tayforth members welcome.
