Come and make your own Native American style medicine drum in a day of sacred ceremony at a peaceful rural location near Canterbury.
You will be guided gently through the transformational process to help you create a beautiful and powerful healing tool.
OUTLINE WORKSHOP CONTENT:
Welcome and introductions
Smudging ceremony
Application of the medicine drum
Preparing/decorating the hoops
Cutting rawhide lace
Lacing your drum
Making your drum beater
Making your rattle (optional)
Closing ceremony
American Plains Bison and English Fallow Deer hides available in a choice of drum sizes.
Workshop cost: from £150 including materials.
