Monday 13th June, 7:30-9 PM. Come and gain from the wisdom of experience, about marketing, setting up or maintaining your clinic, pricing, customer service, and any other thing you need to know. Informal chat and discussion evening, come and network, find out about the new Embody brand, how Embody is helping you and how we can all benefit together. 5 pound members first few non-members get in for 5 pounds too, otherwise it's 7, 4 for students. Hi, I'm a newly qualified massage therapist and would love to come to your next forum, when is it? Also, I wonder if you could help. I've got an interview with a health club and they say they also want to give me a trade test? I'm assuming (and hoping) that this is a demo of my massage style. Would the protocol for this be for me to wear my usual massage uniform and take oils etc? I usually just wear casual clothes to interviews, so I'm wondering if for the 'trade test' I should take my uniform and change in to it. HELP! Abhi

Hi there, Thank you for your interest. The group is definitely worth going to, and I say to people it doesn't even matter what the subject or speaker is, you'll learn something that helps you. I started the group only because there wasn't one and then went to every meeting. Through these meetings, I learnt so much that has helped me become a full-time therapist working for no-one but my own company, with two therapists subcontracting to me when needed. I honestly don't think I could have done it without the meetings. The charge for these meetings is normally only £5.00 to help cover our costs, and you can buy a drink at the bar. For non-members, the charge is still very goood value at usually £7.00. Good Luck with the interview. I will reply in a separate thread to this and hope to see you very soon.

Hi Jason and welcome to the Forums. Tuesday 6th December 2005 For our last meeting this year, we are having a Christmas drink on Tuesday 6th December. Meet downstairs at the Rugby Tavern 8:00-9:30 PM, free entry, you just buy your drinks at the bar. Come and say hello and bring some business cards. You never know who you will meet, it could be your next client! I will be wearing a Santa Claus hat, although hat-wearing is optional for others...
