South West London Meeting (27th January) Building your Business through Effective Public Speaking
Hi there,
Hope you have had a great start to 2015. Happy New Year!!
We have a special event planned for you starting with a very practical and hands-on Workshop on Public Speaking. This is a great way to grow your business.
Please share this invitation with family and friends if you feel they will benefit.
We will be at the PUTNEY Library for this event ONLY. It is a 3 hour workshop so please prepare by thinking about why you chose to provide the service you do, who does it benefit and why you care as this will be woven into the evening.
Bring paper and pen to take notes.

TOPIC: Effective Public Speaking - building your business through effective communication.
SPEAKER: Elliot Kay and Emily Julian
Elliot and Emily have built their business teaching people how to manage their state and be powerful in their communication from stage. You will walk away at the end of the evening with a structure you can use, which can easily be adapted to be shorter/longer.
We will be covering
* Speaking to help build and promote your business and brand.
* State management - 3 keys to overcoming nerves
* Building and delivering content
Elliot and Emily will share their winning formula. Each section will be explained one by one and time given to create and practice it. We end the night by delivering the entire flow all together as detailed below.
The structure is:

- Adding depth
- Adding heart
- Why do you care?
Schedule for the evening:
6:00-6:15 Introduction and announcements
6:15-7:15 1st session (promoting your business through public speaking; state management and practice)
7:15-7:45 Coffee/Networking/Treatment swap
7:45-8:40 2nd Session(building and delivering content)and Q&A
8:45-9:00 Sign ups and clearing away.

1) Physiology - Grounding and Power Pose
2) Language - Self-talk and Affirmations
3) Focus - Shift into heart space, focus on what you are giving to the audience
Ask 3 powerful question at the start of your presentation to engage conscious and sub-conscious mind. This helps to hook the audience.
Structure taught and practiced at the workshop:
1. Questions
2. Earn the right
3. Add depth (what problems are you solving)
4. Add heart (why is this important to you)
