Does anyone have experience of clients with lupus and massage
Hi Colleagues
Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experiencing in massaging a person with Lupus? I am aware it is an auto immune disease and if in acute/flare up stage then massage is contraindicated. Should Doctors consent be sought? Any advice anyone willing to share will be appreciated. Thank You

I did massage on a friend with Lupus. I did swedish and therapeutic massage but the typemof massage she benifited most from was Ayurvedic massage mainly because it was the most relaxing for her because she had insomnia from the pain.
