Massage and Aromatherapy for client with Lupus

Hi, Does anyone have any experience of using Massage and Aromatherapy on someone with Lupus? If so, I'd love to hear how it went. Thank you, Darius Joseph

Hi Darius, I have massaged someone with lupus (and still do). I am not a qualified aromatherapist so I just use coconut oil on her as it does not have allergy issues. Because of the nature of the illness sometimes I can do more and sometimes it's very light. I went and looked up lupus on the internet beforehand too. An advanced aromatherapy practitioner who had done specialist training in Lupus might be able to know oils that are safe to use.I got permission from the GP first before I started treating as well. Hope that helped.
