Post endurance event massage for amputees

I will be giving post event warm down massage at an upcoming event and one team will be an amputee team, which is a new area for me. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice on techniques, areas of focus, musculoskeletal problems associated with using prosthetic limbs in endurance events? Any advice, experiences or literature suggestions welcome.

One brief comment - I've massaged a number of amputees (though not after an endurance event) and they've all liked having the stump where the limb's gone from massaged. Hope it goes well for you.
