seated massage for adults and children who have suffered psychological trauma (including PTSD).

I've become really interested in using seated massage for adults and children who have suffered psychological trauma (including PTSD). I just wondered if there is any one at the society who might know more about this or know of anyone who practices in this area?

Hi Rebecca I am a counsellor specialising in trauma so regularly work with clients who have PTSD. I also teach seated massage not specifically for this client group but perhaps this is something we could discuss. Mary Atkinson does story massage its designed for children but can be used with adults, she has used it with children in Japan after the Tsunami. www.storymassage.co.uk
