Volunteer Massage Therapist required in Chelmsford, Essex for established Charity;will pay expense
Volunteer Therapist requred for the Charity "Charms" (Charity Action for the Releif of Multiple Sclerosis) Grafton Place, Montrose Road, Chelmsford, Essex, who have been operating for 25 years (see www.charms.fsnet.co.uk).
I have worked there for 8 years, but am now retiring. They treat people with all sorts of problems, not just MS & the work is very rewarding, as massage is of huge benefit to their members.
They are open on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturday morning, but you can fix the hours & days you do to suit yourself as they are grateful for any help they can get. They have electrically operated Massage couches & provide all towels & creams etc in a quiet room. I charged them for my travelling expenses, & the idea is to help generate an income for the charity, as well as help their members.
