first aid training

Hi,
I will be running a First Aid Training day on Sunday 3rd Feb, 10am - 4pm, here at The Healthy Life Centre, cost £85.
It will be taken by Focus Training who are well known and experienced in the First Aid field. They have the added advantage of being therapists themselves and so understand exactly the incidences that we might have to deal with in our practices. I have worked with them for 5 years and known them for longer, and they go around Britain delivering these courses with good feedback.
Those of you who have already done one of these days through us will find that your previous qualification will expire at the latest by January 2013, so to maintain your cover you will need to renew. (Renewal is every 3 years, or every year if a half day course is taken annually). Increasingly we are seeing professional bodies (The Shiatsu Society, Federation of Holistic Therapists etc) adding or debating the addition of First Aid to their compulsory list for members and this course passes their level of qualification.
The cost includes the training, certificate and a manual, and I enclose an application form in case you are interested.

If people can email the healthy life centre, application forms and dates etc are all via them.
Incidentally, the council provision mentioned at the meeting last time appears to be just for council and voluntary employees now. I emailed them and got a polite email saying I was not eligible as self employed.
