Local Group Event - Mid Summer Walk
Our next local group event will be an evening walk in the Pentland Hills south of Edinburgh to enjoy the long summer evening and spectacular views.
Date - Tuesday 26th June
Time - We will leave the car park at 6.30pm
Location - Meet at Thriepmuir Reservoir Car Park (south of Balerno)
Details - this circular walk will take in Scald Law and the Kips. It is 7.5 miles and should take around 4 hours. There are some short, steep climbs, but the walk should be suitable to anyone of average fitness. Please bring good walking boots or shoes, something warm to wear and bite of supper.
