Minutes from Local Group Meeting - April 2008

Attendees: John Sleigh, Kathleen Barclay, Kerry Oliver, Lorraine Tollan, Rona Gray, Yvonne Caplan, Ruth Muheim, Annette Wilson Apologies: Anne Stirling, Anne Todd, Jo Spaczynska, Fiona Cartmell, Meriel Younger, Alison MacColl, Jacqui Riegel, Nik Kilduff Annette outlined the current position that both she and Nik were giving up running the local group after 3 years, and proposed that the meeting focus should be to agree whether there is enough interest to continue the group and to decide how best to take it forwards. We are pleased to say that there is interest in keeping the group running and hopefully there will be more local events / meetings upcoming later in the year. Watch this space! Actions: 1. Rona and Kerry agreed to run a stand or have a local group presence at the upcoming event at Scottish Beauty, EICC on Sunday 11th May. 2. A small group volunteered to take the group forward, along with 1 or 2 others. They are Rona Gray, Yvonne Caplan and John Sleigh. 3. Annette to establish other members who are interested to help and pass their email ids on.
