Pregnancy massage courses in Edinburgh

Hello Can anyone recommend a good pregnancy massage course in Edinburgh? I know Inspire do a one-day course (5 CPD points) and KnotStressed do a three-day course (15 points). Does anyone have experience of either of these courses - or a different one? Perhaps you'd send me an email if you have at rhona@rhonataylortherapies.co.uk . Thanks!

Hi Rhona Sorry you didnt ask a few weeks ago as Jing Institute of Advanced massage training just ran their 3 day course in edinburgh in August. I have trained with Wellmother, Jing and Knotstressed and do feel that it is worth investing the time and money for a longer course with any of the aforementioned organisations. I teach with Jing and so am biased but do suggest you check their website. We are running a 3 day foundation in myofascial release sept 8-10 in edinburgh which I highly recommend. best wishes Fiona

Hi Rhona, I trained with WellMother and found this to be very well delivered by Suzanne Yates and would highly recommend her also I personally feel that the more time (days) involved in training is so much better. Hope this helps Frances

I did the Jing course it was well worth taking the three days So I would suggest which ever course you chose do that, as I have done shorter one day courses in the past and there is no comparison

Hi again, the Well Mother course was four days along with case studies when I did it a number of years ago I am not sure if this is still the same so would be worthwhile checking out.

Thanks all, that's very helpful. I'll inquire about Wellmother as they don't seem to have any courses coming up in Scotland - otherwise the Knotstressed course seems a good alternative. Thanks, Rhona

Any JING course is fantastic in my experience and well worth the investment in time and money - well worth seeing what they come up with in Edinburgh in the future, even if you have to go elsewhere for the pregnancy one, as they usually do 3-4 courses a year up here and are bit of a hidden gem (maybe cos they are based in Brighton)

Hi, I'm trying to find out how many CPD points the JING pregnancy course gives you, for my membership renewal. Does any one know, please? Thanks in advance, Aleks
