Therapists and Friends of the Salisbury Centre Meeting Sunday 15th April
For those who do not already know about it - there is a meeting at the Salisbury Centre tomorrow night - Sunday 15th from 7pm to about 9pm to discuss possible ways to combat the closure of the centre. This is organised by a couple of former residents who wish to save the centre (and not a trustee organised event).
Kind regards
Stuart & Denise

Thank you for that information.
It would be a very sad day indeed if the Salisbury Centre closes.
I have frequented the centre steadfastly over the 12 years I lived in Edinburgh, and it is a very special place and space. I also know that many others appreciate it very much.
I wish you strength in your campaign - we need the Centre more during this day and age.
I send my heartfelt support
best wishes

To be honest I do not think it will survive. It will almost certainly close in July / August time. It is however good that some ex residents are attempting to look at options to rescue the centre and I wish them well.
I have relocated my clients now and therefore although remaining sad at the loss of the centre, should not be too badly effected otherwise.
Hope some of us can make it - anyone who does, please report back to the forum!
Cheers
Stuart
I worked at the Salisbury Centre for a number of years, and have attended many workshops and classes there ( still doing Pilates!) It's such a beautiful space. My daughters did the pottery classes there when they were kids! Yes....it's incredibly sad. I can't make the meeting tomorrow night, but let me know if there is anything else I can do. best wishes, Fiona
