Complementary Therapist in Cancer & Palliative Care

The Dimbleby Cancer Care service provides complementary therapy, psychological support and specialist information services to people affected by cancer.
The complementary therapy team is looking to expand their team of qualified therapists. The service currently offers aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki, acupuncture and relaxation & stress management courses to patients and their carers.
We are looking for an experienced therapist who can offer a variety of complementary therapies including aromatherapy and reflexology. Ideally you should have experience of working with cancer or palliative care patients and be able to demonstrate evidence of continued professional development.
Successful applicants will be self-motivated individuals with registration/accreditation with the relevant professional body and be able to work across all Trust sites. The successful post holder will have competent IT skills and well developed communication skills and must be able to deal with sensitive information.
Applicants must have recognised professional training in massage and aromatherapy and reflexology (eg. ITEC, IFPA, AOR).
