Kent Hospice needs valuable volunteer therapists....
The Ellenor Lions Hospices have a robust complementary therapy team. We need more therapists to come on board and help the many patients we have. We work within a hospice setting (Gravesend and Dartford) and in the community (Homecare). We treat adults with life shortening illnesses, and we also work with the Children and Young Persons Team, working with babies up to teenagers.
We offer a sound induction (if you are new to palliative care) and the chance to work alongside doctors, clinical nurse specialists and nursing staff as part of the multi-disciplined team.
We have protocols for anyone interested, who are qualified in Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Manual Lymph Drainage, Bowen and LeBed.
