What a great idea and superb opportunity for sports therapists who have their own finances well sorted and don't need any money. The Ski pass is an added bonus for those passionate about skiing.
At £10 per hour, that's only £50 maximum per day earnings - am I correct that this level of earnings is not guaranteed. What is the minimum guaranteed earnings per week ?.
Would this be on an employed or self-employed basis ?. How much tax is payable and must it be paid in the UK or in Switzerland and at what point in time. Who would cover the costs of health care insurance ?. Will you be providing the Professional Indemnity Insurance cover for the therapist as most insurers don't cover us working abroad for more than 30 days in a year. If not, have you any experience of what the insurance premium would be ?.
The costs of living out there, as you no doubt appreciate, are very much higher than here in the UK, as is running one's own car. As you want mobile service, it would, of course, necessitate either buying a car once there or driving out from the UK. Do you have any information on how much it would cost to get the vehicle there, insurance for using the car for business purposes, petrol, driving license restrictions / need for European driving license and the associated costs of getting one.
Whilst this surely is a great opportunity to gain experience, it might be helpful if you also provide a summary of the costs of living, transport, etc that would be involved. Only then is it possible to make an appropriate assessment of whether one could afford to work for you on this fantastic opportunity for a skiing fiend..
