Wanted for Saturday 1 hour IH massage Charitable event to help beareaved through drugs and alcohol
The Bereaved through Alcohol and Drugs (BEAD) project is run by charities Cruse Bereavement Care and Adfam, and provides support for people that have lost a loved one through their drug or alcohol use. We are holding an information session on Saturday 29 April in Manchester, which will be a chance for individuals bereaved in this way to find out more about what support is available to them locally, hear personal experiences of others and learn about self-help techniques. As part of the self-help section we are looking to do a pampering and mindfulness session of about 1 hour or so, so attendees can learn about ways they can relax and reflect upon their experiences.
We are ideally looking for two therapists to help us out for an hour between 3-4pm, to do some 5-10 minute Indian head and neck massages.
If you had availability on this day to support us at this really important event, we would be very grateful! We are more than happy to reimburse travel and parking costs.
The venue is at: Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St, Manchester M2 5NS
