Exeter & District Changes.
At our meeting held on 27.10.09 at the Sidwell Centre in Exeter, and following discussion with our Chair, Kush Kumar, members present agreed a district boundary change was appropriate. This district shall now be called "Exeter, Torbay and District". From Exeter the boundary will extend South East to Dawlish and South West to Brixham, an area not currently supported. A small committee has been selected to assist running the larger group, consisting of Alice Brockington (Secretary) Ann Denman (Treasurer) and Jaye Williams (Events Co-Ordinator.
We will be holding 10 member meetings annually, 6 in Exeter, and 4 in a more southerly venue, probably Newton Abbot or similar, yet to be arranged after consulting members.
We are also arranging at least 2 public events for 2010.

It is with regret we say goodbye, and a heartfelt thank you to John Maclean, outgoing co-ordinator, but we are pleased that he will still be attending when possible. We also wish John every success in his latest theray venture, but I'll leave him to tell you about that.

I will chack the database as there have been several mail outs in the last week from which you will see things are beginning to change. The quickest way to be up to date, is if you could please email me direct at enquiries@reiki-journey.co.uk and provide me with your update information. As soon as I have your current email, I will mail out all documents which are relevant.
To answer your specific point now;
Meetings are in the course of being scheduled in Exeter and a more southerly venue, for the next 12 months. There will be 6 in Exeter and 4 at a yet to be identified venue, maybe Newton Abbout.
Meetings will be spread between Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday evenings. I have just sent out a questionnaire to help us to work to the needs of members on this.
Our next meeting, subject to confirmation on Tuesday next, will be at The Sidwell Centre in Exeter on Tuesday 1st December at 7.15.pm. This date is to finalize our planning for 2010, and to fit in with the availablity of a member speaker who will present to us.
