Do we still need to do COVID Health Questionnaire and take temperature?

Hello I am still asking Covid health questionnaire (if they have a cough, fever, been abroad, been in contact, etc, etc) and taking temperature. But my clients are asking why I am keeping this. Do we still carry with this procedure? Thanks

This is a good question. Is it possible for the answer to be posted by one of our professional body people what is exactly the law and what is good medical practice. I guess my answer if to protect the more vulnerable who we may go on to see after we have been contact with our clients. Is there perhaps a way we can ask these questions verbally rather than a signed written form? And at least it shows we are taking responsibility. I am wondering whether to ask clients now would they like me to wear a mask!

In line with current government guidelines, i dont think taking temperature etc would be necessary now when doing treatments as close-contact and isolation requirements have all been lifted. However, If someone tells me they have covid I wouldn't personally treat them until they get better.
