I agree that having a recognisable brand will potentially bring great benefits. However, it will take a while for the brand to become recognisable. Having a stand at the Ideal Home Show is a good way of getting the name known and I have been telling the people I know who are going to the show about public membership and the vouchers (which I think are a brilliant idea) and to look out for the stand and sign up!
I visited the show last weekend and eventually came across the stand but it was hard to find because it isn't listed in the show alphabetical brochure index as it is shared with "Shiatsu for you". I hope the stand is successful, but two of my friends who have already been say they couldn't find it.
I don't know what it costs to have a stand at the show - I should imagine it is a significant outlay. Did Embody share the stand because of costs? I think at this stage as part of the whole launch of the Embody brand, it would have been more effective to have a non-shared, more prominent stand. It would be interesting to know how many members of the public have signed up.
Anyway, once I found the Embody stand it was well worth a visit - look for "Shiatsu" in the brochure index.
