Pregnancy massage course?
Hi everyone,
Can anyone please recommend a pregnancy massage course? I live in Leighton Buzzard so London is do-able but there seems to be so much choice I don't know where to go!
Thankyou

Have you looked at Well Mother Courses? http://www.wellmother.org/
OK thankyou, I will look into those. Does anyone have any experience with Gateway workshops?
Hi, I have just attended a gateway workshop manual lymhatic drainage course in New Malden which was really good as the class size is small and therfore you get a lot of one on one time with the lecturer.
In 2009 I did my pregnancy massage course with Inspire. I must say it is the best money I have ever spent as most of my work is now pregnancy massage.
I did the gateway workshop. It was a good course and the teacher was great so I would receommend it. I felt confident after to see pregnant clients as the notes were quite comprehensive. However since it is only 1 day it just covers the basics like positioning. If you are wishing to specialise in pregnancy massage or see lots of this client group a longer course would be better.
I've also done Gateway's pregnancy massage course (but in Ireland) and was very happy with it. I now feel confident treating a pregnant client. However, I think a more comprehensive/longer course would be better if you have many pregnant clients and you wanted to concentrate on this area. Gateway workshops are great 'tasters', though, as they're only one day (about 7 hrs).
