Voluntary work

I am recently qualified as a massage practitioner and I am looking to do part-time voluntary work during the summer and autumn as I curently have a full time job. I have sent off e-mails to some local organisationscharities but I am wondering what would be the best way to find such organisations that would use my services. Thanks! Roxanne

I've been doing voluntary work (reflexology mainly but also some massage) for a local carers project for nearly two years now - you could find details of one local to you in the yellow pages. There's a huge demand for treatments amongst carers.

3rd June AS this is volunteer's week there should be volunteering oportunities highlighted in you local volunteers centres or the volunteer exchang. Look at "Inspiring volunteers" websites. Local council often have oppurtunities in their health projects
