Who are you working for ?
Having recently done some research on what therapists knew about the people they see as their 'professional body' and what they wanted them to do, I wondered how many of you have done a search of companies house to find out more about the professional body that represents you.
This is not restricted just to EMBODY, ITEC, CThA, Embody Promotions, Education & Media Services Limited, Holistic Insurance Services Limited - all of which appear to be related prfit making businesses at first glance.
It also refers to BABTAC, FHT, PACT, Therapy Insurance Services etc etc.
Do we know much about Embody Promotions?. Are they a profit making subsidiary or a division ?. Of which company or organisation. Their e-mails state that they are a division of Education & Media Services Limited.

It appears that Education & Media Services Limited is also registered by the Financial services Agency and was authorised as at 17 February 2005 to undertake non-investment insurance mediation activities.
So can anyone answer the question who are we paying membership fees to - a profit making business that is servicing our needs or a 'Professional Body' representing our interests.
