Reminder: Annual Carshalton harvest weekend – 27th – 28th July 2019 10am-4pm
Hi,
Would you like to come? It's free entrance and you just pay for the lavender you take.
The only community project where you can pick your own lavender. You can make a nice day out with a picnic or there is a little community tea shop with sandwiches and cakes. It benefits the community and keeps the lavender field open for future generations.
As I'm going anyway I usually volunteer to pick the lavender for the distillation (they are always looking for volunteers).
Watch the distillation, you can buy lavender essential oil and hydrolate, it's wonderful and a lovely day out in the sunshine, usually. Am running low on lavender hydrolate again!
Parking on the roads (Oaks way, SM5 4NQ) or nearest train station, Carshalton Beeches (plus 15 minutes walk).

Look forward to seeing you there.
Kind regards
