CPD seminar in Shepton Mallet
Hi all,
South West Health Seminars is holding an Introduction to Ayurveda seminar on Saturday 4th April at Kilver Court Wellness Centre in Shepton Mallet. (10am - 5pm) All welcome. The emphasis will be on learning the basic ways of identifying dominant doshas so that you can use this as an additional tool to assist your patients. It's especially helpful when talking about diet as you can sometimes assist them by something simple - for example, by suggesting the use of spices for kapha imbalance. The day is taught by Joanne Johnston. For more details please email me, Jane, on janekibbler@hotmail.co.uk or j.kibbler@sky.com.
We also have a homeopathic video learning day with George Vithoulkas on 7th March and it's open to anyone with an understanding of homeopathy.
EFT Level One is being held on May 16th. Normally this takes two days but we have a great teacher called Judy Byrne who teaches it in one. Last year we had a good turnout and a lot of fun. The course costs a lot less because it's condensed into one day, and is only £65.
I'm really pleased about our forthcoming Kinesiology days too. This is taught by Roger Dyson, (all our teachers are very experienced) and is aimed at health practitioners or members of the public who havea good understanding of holistic healthcare. He will show us how to use kinesiology as a diagnostic tool to identify weaknesses in organs and systems, or to choose between herbal or homeopathic remedies, or certain types of food.
I'm trying to choose CPD days that are really practical to us and I'm just starting out independently after 18 months as CPD Co-ordinator for the British School of Homoeopathy. Please support me! I live and practise in Langport so I'm local to you all. Do let me know which types of CPD day would be useful to you. Just email me or phone me on 01458 253233.
Cheers!
Jane
