Are you interested in becoming the Local Group Co-ordinator for the Norfolk group?
I will be leaving my role as the local group co-ordinator for the Norfolk group after 5 years at the end of November as I am going on maternity leave. I am expecting twins early next year!
Is anyone interested in becoming the new co-ordinator?
The role is voluntary, but you will receive free CThA membership and be reimbursed for any costs you incur.
There is support available from the regional group co-ordinator as well as the team at head office. How you run the group is really up to you. As a guide, I have been arranging and advertising 5-6 meetings with speakers per year, open to members and non-members. Newsletters and information for group members can be emailed out via the CThA website which is easy to do. Paper copies of this information can be posted out to members without registered email addresses by head office.
I have really enjoyed my time as co-ordinator for the group - I enjoy booking the speakers and organising the meetings as well as meeting therapists at the meetings themselves. I shall miss it!
If you are interested and would like to know more, please contact me with your email address and I will send you more information as well as an application form.
The Norfolk group will not be able to continue without a new co-ordinator.
With best wishes, Sam Bootle
Norfolk Group Co-ordinator, CThA
Hi. It's something that interests me but, as a fairly newly qualified therapist trying to get a business up and running, I'm a little worried about the time commitment. Any further information you could give would be useful. Many thanks.
