New co-ordinator for the Norfolk group
My name is Sam Bootle and I'm the new co-ordinator for the Norfolk group. I shall be sending out a newsletter to members within the next couple of weeks with our first meeting of 2007 to be held in March. More details to follow soon. Congratulations on your recent appointment. Would the meetings take place in a different venue? Some of the girls found the past venue difficult especially at night during the winter season. I personally got lost one night at Stoke Holy Cross and was almost accosted by an irrate local because I accidently drove up his drive way. May I again kindly suggest that there is a scout hall in Hetersett village opposite the local village Hall that is available. There is ample and safe parking at both. The cost would be £5.00 per night. It is central for most places and the North of Norwich people will have no difficulty in finding it. My telephone number is 01603 812805.

Thank you for your message and suggestions - very welcome. I've thought about changing the venue for the meetings to possibly an easier location to find. The lack of street lighting in Stoke Holy Cross doesn't help! Will keep everyone posted on any venue change. Look forward to meeting you.
