Confirmation of Meeting 21/4/06
I am writing to introduce myself as your Local Coordinator. As one
of the prime goals of the CThA is to support and promote it's members, a
network of local groups has been set up Our aims are simple:
1.To support members
2.To promote members
3.To start small and build on our success
4.To have FUN!
Coordinators volunteer to be facilitators and/or focal points for local area members. There is no set formula so each group is free to develop differently at their own pace and direction according to local members' needs. So any meetings, get together, events, etc are planned and arranged by local members for local members. We are encouraged
also to open any events to all therapists in our area, regardless of whether they belong to the CThA (Embody) or other groups; or whether they have yet to receive their full qualification or are non-therapists who are interested in the field of Complementary Therapy.
The official meeting will be held on 21st April 2006 at 20:00 at

Parking is available just up the road on the right
outside HSS Hire Shop (now closed down) or on the left hand side of the
road there is a business centre with parking facilities (I would not
advise parking on the streets as it is a hot bed for bored Traffic
Wardens).
One of our local members Jon Critoph will give a talk about local
groups and we will also have Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce talking about what benefits they bring to those that are self employed or trying to start their business. This meeting will also provide an opportunity
to meet each other and network with local therapists. Refreshments
will be provided and we ask for a contribution of £5 to pay for the room
hire and travelling expenses of the presenters.
Local groups will be successful and exciting with the support and
enthusiasm of local members, so I do look forward to meeting you and would be grateful if you would send a confirmation email (details below) to
confirm your attendance.
