complementary therapy legislation help plz

I am doing a childcare course and have been writing assignments on the different complementary therapies. I have come to write about legislation training and regisration and why they are important. I needed to write something about insurance so i said that being on national registers and doing the proper training would help the therapist to get insurance. Is that correct in saying that? Are there any useful links where i can get a quote from to back this up? I am struggling to find one. Thanks in advance
