Complementary therapies
As part of my diploma in health and social care and early years, i am completing a unit on complementary therapies. One of the assesment objectives in this unit asks about health and safety, as well as qualifications and materials a practitioner would need.
I am basing my therapy on a 43 year old male suffering from depression, and have decided to use aromatherapy and massage as part of his treatment, alongside counselling.
