Diagnosing Extreme Hyperthyroidism

Hi Do you think it's unrealistic to expect a member/naturpath/nutritionist to be able to diagnose a serious illness, such as extreme hypothyroidism,(TSH 0.014) having observed the ongoing symptoms, monthly, for over a year? Thanks

I'm afraid one of the CAM professional limitations is that we have to refrain from diagnosing. However, your therapist could have observed/noticed your symptoms and ideally referred you to your GP for investigative tests - that's if you were exhibiting the usual collection of symptoms - not everybody does. Hope you are getting the best of help now. Best wishes Ersilia
