My name is Claire. I just did the basic lymphatic drainage course and I am about do the therapy 1 course.
I am doing the course with MLD UK. For this course you will need a good knowledge of A&P. far more in depth than the normal ITEC Level 3. I have a nursing back ground and I sent in my nursing certificate as well as my Massage certification. Having done the basic I would advise that the 1 or 2 day courses that are advertised are sub-standard
as I did a 1 day course with GATEWAY they gave me a diploma. It did not inform me of all the conditions and the skills for Lymphatic Drainage. BE WARNED not all are right and they are after your money.
